When there is a green check mark, on the upper right corner of the keypad this means that all protected windows and doors are closed, and the alarm is ready to turn on.
When the check mark is not green , this means that one or more zones are open. If you attempt to arm the system at this time, the keypad will beep and display SECURE SYSTEM BEFORE ARMING , and the system will not arm.
To determine what zone(s) are open, press the left or right scroll button < > multiple times to scroll through the open zones.
To Bypass a zone, press the asterisk * button TWO times.
You can then scroll through the zones using the scroll buttons < >
As you scroll through, you can press the asterisk * button to bypass that zone. The zone will then display a B on the lower right side of the screen. If the zone is already open, it will display an O on the lower right side of the screen. Press the pound key # to exit the bypass screen.
Basic Operation:
To arm:
1: Bypass any zones needed
2: Make sure check mark is solid green.
3: Enter your 4 digit code
(You may also use your STAY or AWAY buttons)
4: If leaving, exit within exit time.
To disarm:
1: If entering, keypad will beep as a reminder to turn
off the system.
2: Press in your 4 digit code. Beeping will stop.
If you make a mistake, STOP !!! the keypad will lock up to prevent tampering.
Start over, pressing buttons carefully.
REMEMBER: Test your system weekly to ensure proper operation.
