DSC Change user cose

 To change your user code:
 

Go to your keypad
 

Press       *  5
 

Enter your current 4 digit master code  ( This is usually your current user code )
 

Use the left and right scroll arrows   <   >   to go to the user number you wish to change or add
 

Press   *
 

Enter your new 4 digit number
 

Press # two times to exit programming
 

Example of how to change user code 1234 to user code 4321:
 

*  5   1234   >> (press as many times as needed to get to the code you wish to change)    * 4321   # #
 

It is much easier to enter if you write the exact buttons you will need to enter.
 

Please keep in mind that on some alarm keypads, the master code is in user 40 position.
